Education: B.S. in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin

I love that there are no major egos here. Everyone is laid back and open to new ideas.

Rudy's responsibilities as developer include implementation of client Web site designs, CMS integration, and site maintenance requests.

Rudy was a friendly and popular kid who hid his secret fears of leprechauns, dinosaurs (thanks Jurassic Park), and the dark. After realizing he wasn't nearly tall enough to secure an NBA contract, he started his professional career with a Multicultural Advertising Internship Program in New York City the summer after his graduation but decided to follow his other passion—programming.

His first opportunity to grow within the field came at BancVue Interactive, a financial marketing and interactive production company here in Austin, TX. Starting off as an intern, Rudy eventually earned the title of Front-End Developer. After two years, having gained everything he could from the financial marketing sector and looking to expand his abilities even more, he joined the Trademark Media team as their very own developer.

Rudy lives in Central Austin with his girlfriend Rachel and their (as-yet-imaginary) puppy, Hiccup.  In his spare time, he loves to put on his vinyls, eat food that is totally not good for him (just once in a while), and spend time with his close friends. His unique laugh can always be heard when he is within a half mile, as he is always having fun.

Rudy's favorite things:

  • Movies, food and beer at the alamo drafthouse
  • Jon Stewart
  • Listening to his vinyl record collection

Rudy's pet peeves:

  • prime numbers (they think they're so special!)
  • fox news
  • the word «chillaxin'»
  • television commercials
  • people who go straight in the right turn lane
